Blade Selection Guide

Start with the material. Then match the blade to the operation and your machine.

1. Choose your material

Material Where to start
Quartzite Lynx cutting blades, shaping wheels and KING CNC tooling
Porcelain & ceramic Turbo mesh blades, porcelain tooling and DualEdge miter blades
Marble, travertine & limestone Marble Pro and electroplated shaping discs
Dekton & ultra-compact surfaces Material-specific cutting and edge-tuning tools

2. Match the operation

Use cutting blades for straight cuts. For bevels or edge shaping, choose a disc explicitly designed for that operation. Do not side-grind with a cutting-only blade.

3. Check machine compatibility

  • Blade diameter must be permitted by the machine and its guard.
  • Arbor and flange must fit correctly. Use only approved reducers and mounting hardware.
  • The machine's operating speed must not exceed the blade's marked maximum speed.
  • Use water only with equipment designed for wet operation.

Need a recommendation?

Send your material, thickness, cut type, machine model, diameter and arbor size. Include the machine speed and whether you will cut wet or dry.
